Congratulations to Oliver, Aidan, Juniper and Evie who were this weeks mastery recipients. Keep up the great work!

This term 1E are learning all about light and sound and how they are produced. This week we discovered that sounds are made through vibrations. We made our own vibrations to produce sound waves using instruments. We noticed that if you held onto the instruments in certain spots whilst playing them it stops the vibration and you can no longer hear the sound. I recommend turning your sound down before pressing play on this video… it’s pretty noisy!

1E did a fantastic job running the assembly on Monday. Well done to Oliver and Juniper for an amazing effort as our speakers and to Leo for saying the acknowledgment of country.  You are all superstars!

 

Stage 1 speech time is fast approaching! I am very excited to hear all about your chosen topics. Speeches are due in week 5 (next week).
