What a Year!

Wow, what an amazing end to a fabulous year! I’m not sure what I’m going to do without seeing those 24 beautiful, smiling faces looking up at me every day.

We have a lot of good memories this year that we have shared as a class. We had a great time at the reptile park, singing about Llamas on the bus with Juniper, the time Mrs Sheehan walked in and scared Ethan out of his chair, almost all of us getting swooped by our resident magpies, when the very messy Easter bunny visited, making our class news together, when Shiah stuck her face in the air blower at the Museum, Iris’s sushi rice cream, the science dome, our Dr Karl visit, discos, NAIDOC day, healthy Harold, the colour run, world of maths.. the list goes on.

I feel like the luckiest teacher in the world having a class who all show such an enormous love of learning. They get excited about discovering new things and sharing their knowledge with their peers. I have seen massive growth this year both socially and academically and I hope all of my students keep trying their personal best. Congratulations on completing year 1! I am so proud of you all. Keep Shining 1E!

Class Party!

We had a fantastic day yesterday playing games, eating party food and celebrating the end of an outstanding year. A big thank you to all of the parents and families for bringing delicious food for us to eat.  We opened our Christmas presents, played pin the mustache on Mr Selwood, Celebrity Heads, Minute to Win It, Just Dance… the list goes on! Take a look at some photos of our day below.
